I'm still here.

It's hard to believe, but I'm so far away from where I was a year ago. I sometimes look back and wish I had done more with that time, reflected upon how precious it all was.

... I always do.

Still drawing Goten, still writing about him. It's strange how as the years go by, he sinks deeper into my heart. I wonder how much of me has become him, simply because I spend so much time loving those things he loves, thinking about those things he ponders, and generally living an alternate life in my head.

I'm not a crazy person who believes that they ARE an anime character, but as a writer, and him as my muse, he's become something else entirely. Like a garden, my understanding of him grows the more I tend to him. He's my favorite subject.

Much more interesting than school right now. I can't believe it's almost over? I don't know if I've learned much this semester, except how to deal with being around people all the time. I think I need more time to myself. More time just to marinate in my own thoughts... and maybe more art will emerge.

I hope so.
